The Fliteboard x Marc Newson MN86 is engineered around a high-volume 86 L carbon platform designed to increase buoyancy, longitudinal stability and rider balance during take-off and flight phases. The full carbon monocoque construction maximises stiffness-to-weight ratio and maintains structural alignment between the board, mast and propulsion system, enabling efficient thrust transfer, smoother lift initiation and stable flight behaviour across varying speed ranges.
The 86 L board volume provides increased buoyancy and surface support, improving rider stability, weight distribution and low-speed control. The higher volume platform reduces stall sensitivity, facilitates easier lift generation and delivers more predictable flight behaviour compared to lower-volume performance boards.
Full carbon monocoque construction designed to maximise structural rigidity and minimise torsional flex under dynamic load. The rigid mast mounting interface ensures direct transmission of motor thrust to the hydrofoil assembly, improving lift efficiency, acceleration response and overall flight stability up to 55 km/h.
